Antigo is a city in and the county seat of Langlade County, Wisconsin, United States.[Find a County. National Association of Counties. Retrieved on 2008-01-31.] The population was 8,560 at the 2000 census. Most of the city is located within the Town of Antigo. Small portions are within the towns of Ackley and Rolling. Antigo is the centre of a good farming and lumbering district, and its manufactures consist principally of lumber, chairs, furniture, sashes, doors and blinds, hubs and spokes, and other wood products. The city has a Carnegie library.
